By creating an account, shipping a package, or using any service provided by Bibi’s Logistics, the customer agrees to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Service Description

Bibi’s Logistics provides air, sea, and ground courier services for the transportation of packages and cargo from international and local origins to Jamaica and within Jamaica.

  • Air Freight: Faster delivery for small to medium packages.

  • Sea Freight: Cost-effective shipping for large, bulky, or heavy items.

  • Ground Courier: Local pickup, delivery, and distribution services

Delivery timelines are estimated and not guaranteed.

2. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Proper packaging of all items to prevent damage

  • Providing accurate shipping information, including name, address, and contact number

  • Supplying correct invoices, receipts, and customs documentation

  • Declaring the true value and contents of all shipments

  • Ensuring items comply with Jamaican customs and import laws

Bibi’s Logistics is not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect or incomplete information.

3. Company Responsibilities

Bibi’s Logistics agrees to:

  • Handle shipments with reasonable care and industry-standard practices

  • Facilitate customs clearance where applicable

  • Notify customers of shipment arrival, delays, or required actions

  • Deliver shipments once all fees and documentation are completed

We do not guarantee delivery dates, especially where third parties are involved.

4. Pricing and Payment

Fee Structure

  • Charges are calculated based on weight (per lb) and/or dimensional weight, whichever is greater.

  • Rates may vary depending on service type (air, sea, ground).

Additional Charges May Include

  • Processing fees

  • Handling fees

  • Service charges

  • Storage fees

  • Customs duties, taxes, and government fees (paid by customer)

Payment Terms

  • All charges must be paid in full before delivery or release

  • Payments are accepted via approved payment methods only

  • Unpaid balances may result in storage fees or shipment hold

5. Liability and Insurance

  • Bibi’s Logistics’ liability is limited and does not exceed the declared value of the shipment or the maximum allowed by law.

  • We are not liable for damage caused by poor packaging, manufacturer defects, or prohibited items.

  • Insurance coverage is optional and must be requested before shipment.

  • Claims for damage or loss must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery with photos and documentation.

6. Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited, in accordance with Jamaican law:

  • Firearms, ammunition, explosives

  • Illegal drugs or narcotics

  • Hazardous materials and chemicals

  • Flammable or toxic substances

  • Counterfeit or pirated goods

  • Pornographic or obscene materials

  • Cash, cheques, or negotiable instruments

Bibi’s Logistics reserves the right to refuse, confiscate, or report prohibited shipments.

7. Delivery Terms

  • Delivery timeframes are estimates only

  • Failed delivery due to customer unavailability may result in additional fees

  • Shipments not collected within the stated timeframe may incur storage fees

  • Unclaimed shipments may be disposed of or returned at customer’s expense

8. Force Majeure

Bibi’s Logistics is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Weather conditions

  • Customs inspections or delays

  • Government actions or regulations

  • Strikes, labor disputes, or transportation disruptions

  • Acts of God or emergencies

9. Dispute Resolution

  • All complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days of delivery

  • Bibi’s Logistics will investigate and respond within a reasonable timeframe

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica

  • Any disputes shall be resolved under Jamaican jurisdiction

10. Privacy and Data Protection

  • Customer information is collected solely for shipping, billing, and service purposes

  • Personal data is not sold or shared with unauthorized third parties

  • Information may be shared with customs authorities and service partners when required by law

11. Modification of Terms

Bibi’s Logistics reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

12. Termination Clauses

Bibi’s Logistics may suspend or terminate customer accounts for:

  • Violation of these Terms

  • Fraudulent activity

  • Non-payment of fees

  • Shipping prohibited items

Customers may request account closure in writing, provided all balances are cleared.

13. Refund Policy

  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing

  • Refunds are considered only for overpayments or confirmed service errors

  • Shipping, handling, customs, and processing fees are non-refundable

  • Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method within 7–14 business days
